Birmingham-based Tindal Street Press invites you to the Birmingham launch of Holding My Breath by Sidura Ludwig at Borders in the Bullring. Holding My Breath was written while Sidura lived in Edgbaston, Birmingham between 2001 and 2004. During that time, she was a member of the Tindal Street Fiction Group, whose members provided valuable feedback in the writing process. As such, the Birmingham book launch has a special significance.

According to the Jewish Book Week web site: "Three acclaimed authors tackle the the pain, awkwardness and strange joy of growing up. Esther Freud has frequently returned to this theme in her novels. Sidura Ludwig's debut novel, Holding My Breath depicts a young woman's struggle to find her way in the world. The Rowing Lesson, set in South Africa, is a moving story of a daughter's wish to keep her father alive by retelling his life story."
