NEWS 5 AUGUST 2008 Holding My Breath is launched in the US, published by Shaye Areheart Books of Random House. MARCH 2008 Holding My Breath is shortlisted for the Carol Shields Winnipeg Book Award. MARCH 2008 German rights for Holding My Breath have been sold to Droemer Verlag for publication Fall 2009. AUTUMN 2007 Sidura had a busy season. She participated in the Winnipeg International Writers' Festival in September, speaking on the main stage and at the Nooner at the Millenium Library. In November, Sidura participated in three western Canadian Jewish book fairs: the Winnipeg Jewish Book Fair, the Calgary Jewish Book Fair, and the Vancouver Jewish Book Festival. Sidura also spoke to numerous book clubs, both in person and online. 13 JUNE 2007 Sidura participated in the Toronto Public Library Book Buzz, an online chat in which she answered readers' questions about Holding My Breath. 1 MAY 2007 Sidura gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Dalya Rivka Shron.
